NerviCon Medical Technology Ltd, is a venture capital funded startup medical device company, headquartered in Suzhou, China. The vision of the company is to a) provide world leading implantable neuromodulation technologies, products and services, to restore health and life of neurological and psychotic patients in China and the world; and b) become a world leader in the implantable neuromodulation technology and business. The company is setting up its R&D center in its Suzhou office. The members of this center will also work closely with an elite R&D team in California, USA. This team-based position is responsible all aspects of firmware development on embedded medical systems, including new instruments and updates to existing instruments. This includes system design, firmware design, unit and integration testing, reviewing the work of others, documentation using a change control system, technical briefs, and other design documentation. Participates in project planning including task identification and estimation. Provides product support by working with customers, product planning, marketing, and vendors.
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with BS; or 3+ years of relevant experience with MS.
• C Programming Language. Assembly Language.
• Real-Time Operating Systems
• Ability to work and contribute in a team environment
• Ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
• Ability to interact with various business groups both within the company, and externally with vendors and customers
• Identification of productivity and quality improvements
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge or work experience with:
• TI MSP430, DSPs.
• Serial communication with USB, SPI, UART. Wireless communication.
• HTTP/TCP/IP
• Object oriented design
• Medical device development
