- Primary required background is a Bachelors degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance of production equipment and plant auxiliary systems.
- Desired Process Engineering skills include: leading cross-functional improvement teams, understanding of product specifications and processes with a focus on process analysis/control, variability/cost reduction, and process optimization through experimental design, capital improvement analyses, and other database and computer skills for quantifying process controls.

Maintenance--
- Primary focus will be coordinating and directing plant maintenance activities, consistent with government fire, safety and environmental regulations, to minimize unscheduled downtime and maximize operating efficiencies.
- Initially work closely with the Division Maintenance to quickly develop a working knowledge of process and equipment maintenance requirements.
o Able to implement Autonomous Maintenance
o Reliability Centered Maintenance experience preferred
o Enterprise Asset Management experience preferred
- Select and train shift maintenance technicians. Supervise one process specialist.
o Working knowledge of machine shop practices preferred
o Controls experience preferred
o Preventive and predictive maintenance of rotating machinery
- Work with Division and Corporate Engineers to facilitate the installation of production equipment to minimize start-up and waste and maximize uptime, quality, run speed, and safety.
Provide technical knowledge to help troubleshoot production problems.
o Programmable Logic Controllers
o Controller tuning
o Drives
o Hydraulics
o Pneumatics
o HVAC / Chillers
o Air compressors
- Support plant technical needs in dealing with community and governmental groups.

Process Engineering--
- Assisting with the implementation of standard operating conditions for production equipment.
- Providing support of plant operations with miscellaneous engineering and capital project management.
- Support implementation of Printpack’s standardization initiatives including PPS, PD’s, and 5S.
- Coordinating activities at plant level in order to meet the quality expectations of the customer.
- Data based analysis of process conditions to be used as action plan for improvements to core processes.
